How We Started
Ginger Sport began humbly in 2009 with a bag of soccer balls, a handful of happy, smiling kids, and a coach with a passion for his beloved game of English ‘football’. That coach—Ben Hutchinson—is still the striker behind Ginger Sport
Our Team
We have a great team of play makers who coach thousands of kids at hundreds of venues across South East Queensland.
Our team is made up of delivery, operations, marketing, and customer-service staff. Our delivery team consists of around 25 energetic coaching staff. We also have our very own customer-service midfielders who provide support for everything we do to keep things running smoothly.
We inspire kids to a lifelong love of sport!

It’s not all about bending it like Beckham at Ginger Sport. It’s also about providing a fun, inclusive, and play-based learning environment. We believe this will lay the foundation for a happy and healthy life for our precious kids.
Inclusiveness
We also believe that soccer is a game for boys and girls. Moreover, children of all abilities can play and enjoy the beautiful game. There is a place for everyone.
Why Soccer
Soccer is a great sport for little kids to start out with, because it works on their gross motor skills. In addition to the physical benefits, kids learn a wide range of skills, including how to work in a team and how to solve problems.
Passion Drives Us
Most importantly, we’ve never lost that passion for football and fun. We want Ginger Sport soccer to be as good as it can be for each and every child. If the kids are happy, then we’re happy!
