How do you inspire kids to a lifelong of sport?
By creating a feeling of fun and enjoyment. The more you enjoy something the more you want to do it! 

If you could be any superhero who would you be and why?
Ironman because he’s a billionaire and a philanthropist.

What is your Favourite Quote?
You’ll never walk alone.

What is your best childhood memory of playing sport?
My Grade 9 swimming carnival. It was the 100m Breaststroke. In the back 50m I swam down the leader to win but it was the roar of the crowd that helped – it was the first time I’d really experienced that feeling. 

What’s the first job you dreamed of having as a kid?
Being an F-111 pilot in the RAAF

When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?
Outdoors – usually kayaking or hiking, playing with the kids

Which Sporting Icon did you always impersonate in the backyard and why?
Wally Lewis or Matthew Hayden – proud Queenslanders! 

Why do you enjoy working with children?
Children are so raw and honest, they can’t hide their joy and excitement at learning and mastering new skills. It’s such a privilege to work with them daily and help to create their futures.
